Biology Club have been thrilled to watch the hatching of four chicks from eggs kept in a newly-purchased incubator.
They have regularly weighed the eggs noticing a decrease in mass and an increase in the air sac volume.
Four chicks emerged on Tuesday 8th May after the expected three weeks' incubation period.
They are now happily living in a fully equipped box with lamp, bedding, food and water.
The pupils carefully introduced them to their new surroundings after recording their newly hatched mass.
They will be kept in school for two weeks and then sent to be a looked after at a local farm.
