The U12s suffered a defeat against The Grammar School at Leeds in a game that initially could have gone either way. Ultimately the pace and strength of the Leeds side caused BGS problems as they struggled to get the 1st and 2nd ball. There were some outstanding saves from man-of-the-match Huddlestone to keep the score respectable.
The U13s put in a brave effort against a very physical and mature The Grammar School at Leeds side. After going down to a sloppy goal early on, the boys fought back and equalised through a tremendous finish from Ayo Dare. A loss of concentration for 15 minutes cost us some goals, but once again a class finish from Charlie Howarth and a great team performance in the final quarter of the match kept spirits high and showed positive signs of improvement going forward.
