The Boys' football first team and staff took on the Old Boys at football. The Old Boys were winners of the match.

On Thursday, the U14 cricket team played in round one of the Lancashire Schools Cup versus Manchester Academy. BGSB batted first with Dan Stevens, Josef Gordon and Harry Graham-Scott all retiring on 30 runs. BGSB made 129 from 16 overs. The BGSB bowling attack was in good form, especially that of Elliott Kennedy who was fantastic with the ball. As well as getting figures of 4 wickets for only 4 runs Elliott took a hat-trick and duly kept the match ball at the end of the game. BGSB went on to get Manchester Academy out for 24 runs.

There were no fixtures on Saturday.

On Tuesday the BGSB U15 cricket team played a T10 competition at Old Trafford Cricket Ground. The team fell short of victory against Sale Grammar School in their first match but performed excellently with the ball in their second match on the test ground. BGSB limited Denstone College to 41 run with both excellent pace and spin bowling. Unfortunately the rain came down and the match had to be replayed indoors. In an enthralling encounter BGSB beat Denstone College by 1 run to take the win. With 1 win and 1 loss BGSB finished as runners up with Sale Grammar School crowned Champions. After the match BGSB enjoyed a question and answer session with Lancashire opening batsman and England International Keaton Jennings.
