Girls' Sports Report - Week Ending 20/10/2017

Five Bury Grammar School Girls pupils have been selected for the Manchester Thunder netball programmes.

Manchester Thunder is the main Superleague Franchise in the North West and aims to develop and nurture talented athletes coming through the system.
The U15 Development programme is part of their franchise pathway recognised and supported by England Netball. 

Through their pathway, athletes will get the opportunity to train and play the Thunder Way against other teams/franchises.

Lucy Jennings, Year 8, has been selected for the Manchester Thunder U14 Academy.

Rene Goosen, Year 9, has been selected for the Manchester Thunder U15 Development Academy programme.

Chloe Parkinson, Year 9, has been selected for the Manchester Thunder Youth Academy programme.

Harriet Nicholson, Year 9, has been selected for the Manchester Thunder Youth Academy programme.

Connie Myers, Year 9, has been selected for the Manchester Thunder Youth Academy.
