Research scientist delivers talk to Years 10, 11 and 12

We were delighted to welcome Zoe Chapman into school on Thursday who spoke to girls and boys in Year 10, 11 and 12 about her background and current work in science.

Zoe has a Biochemistry degree and is currently studying for a PhD in the field of Lung Cancer statistics.

It was interesting to hear her talk about her route to becoming a research scientist, which did not follow the typical path.

Zoe's main message was about the variety of opportunities available in STEM subjects and the importance of making the right decisions for you.
