We were delighted to welcome Sofiane Bebert, co founder of Dicey Tech, into school this week to talk to our students about 3D printing.
Dicey Tech is a Manchester-based start-up which aims to use 3D printing to educate young people.
Approximately 20 students attended the lunch time talk where Sofiane introduced how the technology works as well as its current and future applications.
The students were thoroughly engaged and asked a number of thoughtful questions at the end of the talk including relating to the ethics of 3D printing and some of its uses in medicine.
We all went away having learned something new with some of the audience keen to do some 3D printing themselves!
