Sixth formers skydive for charities

Sixth formers Georgia Willetts and Abigail Busuttil completed a 15,000ft skydive in April to raise money for two different charities.

The girls have dreamt of doing a parachute jump for years and wanted to raise money for charities at the same time.

Both students have already hit their targets, raising over £1000 each for their chosen charities.

Georgia has been raising money for The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester after both of her parents received treatment there.

Abigail has been raising money for a little boy called Jacob, for Tree of Hope, who developed Group B strep just hours after being born and has been fighting the life-threatening condition, Sepsis. He has been offered a life-changing operation which could give him the chance to enjoy his hobbies and live his adult life to the fullest.

You can visit the girls' JustGiving fundraising pages below to help both causes.
