Eco-Warriors

Across the school this week, the Eco-Warriors have gathered together to collect data and create their action plans: their mission, to discuss energy use, and develop ideas to reduce litter and waste. You may have also seen this poster appear in some of our classrooms as our team works hard to reduce the amount of electricity used around the Boys’ Junior School. A huge thank you to Keyaan in Year 5 for designing this poster!

Year 3 were planning their Stone Age Adventures with Miss Allen this week, with the help of class assistant Holly, who seemed to take a great interest in the boys' ideas.

Year 4 are learning about databases in Computing. So far this term, they have learned how to code numbers and letters in binary - super for secret messages! Here they are learning the skill of how to sort information for easy retrieval by working out which Little Pig is secretly the Big Bad Wolf in disguise.

In Science in Year 5, we have been investigating air resistance by making and testing parachutes. We looked at a range of materials and different sizes to find the best. It was quite tricky to make the parachutes but we worked together and all of them worked well.

Well done to Leo in Year 3 who won man of the match, for his football team outside of school, for having a fantastic attitude, encouraging his team mates.
