At the start of every term, the boys elect their new School Councillors to represent them for the term. Student voice is strong in the school and allows boys to take part in the democratic process and engage in improving the School.
As our verse speaking contest every year shows, confident performing in front of an audience is an important skill which we work on across all areas. In English we are revisiting the work of poets Charles Causley and Michael Rosen with a focus on the live performance of poetry. The boys acted out key scenes from a poem as well as creating a group choral performance.
Year 4 are making their own moveable toys in Computing. They have completed the first designs of their toys and are now building them. Here’s a dancing robot one team have already made. Which toy store will be recruiting these budding design engineers?
