The Gallery@ BGS
Please take a look around our amazing art gallery - the gallery @bgs was opened by the Mayor of Bury on 1st February 2020. This first exhibition is titled Then & Now, showcasing 450 years of BGS. This virtual tour gives you a flavour of the archival artefacts we hold most dear. Celebrating 450 years of The School is about preserving the past, recording the present and inspiring the future.
Then & Now Exhibition
The tour above is a Matterport tour where a three-dimensional camera system has been used to create a realistic, fully immersive experience. Our designers used this tool to capture imagery, collect measurements and process data to create, edit and share this 3D rendering of our exhibition which we hope you enjoy!
Bury Grammar School has its own gallery to house many exciting events including:
