Music plays an integral part of life in our Infant School.

From Kindergarten through to Year 2 all pupils are given the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of classroom and enrichment music activities.

We help every pupil to achieve their potential and to start off on an exciting life-long musical journey.

'' It is lovely to see our son trying something new- he looks forward to his piano lessons each week! ''

Year 2 BGS Parent

'' Music plays an important role in the school lives of our infant school pupils. Engaging with it both in and out of the classroom through specialist subject provision, a variety of extra-curricular activities and the one-of-a-kind Strings Project enabling children as young as 5 to be learning to play an instrument and start their musical journey. Learning to perform to others is part of their experience and engagement in music and the Arts  and this is provided to all of our students through a variety of opportunities and experiences both within the school setting and the local community.  ''
