Kindergarten/Preschool & Nursery Admissions
Children who join Bury Grammar School in our Infant or Junior School are not required to sit the 11+ entrance examination for entry into the Senior School.
Kindergarten is the beginning of the Bury Grammar School educational journey. Children can be welcomed into Kindergarten from their third birthday and embark on an amazing journey of adventure and fun.
Once an application has been received, children are invited in to meet with our Head of Kindergarten, along with their parents. At this time we are looking for qualities such as potential, initiative, cooperation, independence and an interest in and awareness of the world around them, with respect for other people.
Our aim is to ensure that Bury Grammar School Kindergarten is the right environment for your child to flourish.
Applications can be made throughout the year.
