The School Captains and Prefects at Bury Grammar School for 2025 - 2026
We are proud to introduce our newly selected School Captains and Prefects for the academic year 2025-2026. These roles are among the most prestigious and respected positions within our school community, symbolising leadership and commitment, and serving as exemplary models for our student body.
These roles date as far back as 1595 at Bury Grammar School so they bring with them immense history, traditions and pride for the new Senior Prefect team as they formally represent our school.
The roles of School Captain and Prefect are not only a badge of honour, but also a substantial responsibility. These students will be instrumental in organising school activities, representing the student body at official events, and serving as role models for their peers. It is a commitment that requires time, dedication, and a passion for making Bury Grammar School the best it can be.
