Sponsor A Pupil
Sponsoring a pupil throughout his or her school life is extremely rewarding. This is normally a contribution of 50% and upwards towards the pupil’s school fees over 7 years and the bursary can be named after a loved one or business.
Sponsors receive reports and updates on the pupil’s progress as well as invitations to many special BGS events. In some instances, BGS alumni and supporters combine resources to support a bursary pupil.

Bury Grammar School is a Registered Charity (526622) and therefore gifts made by UK taxpayers can be increased by 25% if we have a completed Gift Aid Declaration. Higher rate taxpayers and companies may also reclaim additional tax relief through their annual tax return.
